LinguaFeedback ("we", "our") values the privacy of educators and students. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our audio analysis service.

We collect minimal data necessary for the app's functionality:

• Teacher Data: We use Google Firebase Authentication. We store your name, email address, and profile picture provided by Google to manage your account.
• Student Data: We do not create student accounts. We process student audio recordings and names solely for the purpose of generating feedback as requested by the authorized educator.
• Usage & Assessment Data: Transcripts, generated feedback, and scores are stored securely in our database to display your history.

We use the data strictly to:

• ✓ Transcribe audio files using AI technology.
• ✓ Generate pedagogical feedback and scoring based on ACTFL/CEFR standards.
• ✓ Allow educators to export these reports.

We do not sell, trade, or rent student data to third parties.

We utilize trusted third-party service providers to operate our app:

• Google Firebase: For secure authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google Gemini AI: For processing transcripts and generating feedback.

LinguaFeedback is designed to be used by educators as a "School Official" tool. Educators are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent required by their institution or local laws (such as COPPA for students under 13) before uploading student audio. We act as a data processor performing a specialized function for the educational institution.

Educators may delete audio files and transcripts at any time via the application interface. Deleting an entry permanently removes it from our active database and storage.
